Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! Did anyone else notice that Chicago celebrated St. Patrick's Day a week early and then moved on to Easter? Before you know it, they will literally be celebrating Christmas in July!

I like St. Patrick's Day. We should have corned beef and cabbage...or vegetable paella. :)

I didn't notice that we were on to Easter yet. I still saw packs of drunk idiots dressed in green going to the bars at 11AM this morning. They went to the bars last Saturday & Sunday and this Friday, Saturday & Sunday all to celebrate ONE day of St. Patricks Day. I don't get it. I guess I was just never a bar-hopping girl.

I was talking more about the stores being finished with St. Patrick's Day, though Chicago did have its parades a week early. I tried to find some St. Patrick's day cupcake liners several days before St. Patrick's Day and they had already clearanced out the St. Patrick's Day items...well before the time that they should have been clearance because they weren't selling. The store did have Easter and Fourth of July cupcake holders for sale though!
